Darts
Competition Darts is played on most Thursday nights in a friendly and fun
environment, commencing at 7.00pm. The competition is run as an in-house handicap
event, so it is fun and fair for players of all ages and levels, from novice to highly
skilled. All matches are played at our clubrooms, where five competition boards have
been specially fitted and installed to professional standards.
Teams are selected by a competition co-ordinator who ensures that teams are well
balanced for close results. Team selections are based on the collective ability of
players so good and average players compete alongside each other.

There are three team competitions each year:
- Autumn competition (Feb – Apr)
- Winter Competition (May- Aug)
- Spring competition (Sept– Nov)
There is also an annual individual Club Championship and a Country Club Championship open to all darts club members.
For some extra fun 4 Slab Nights are spread throughout the year to fill the calendar.
These are round robin tournaments with 2 to 3 players in each team competing to win a slab of beer or drink.
The clubhouse has a great bar, fully equipped kitchen and air-conditioning. A supper interval is a popular, social feature of every match night.
Whilst competition is serious enough for the dart enthusiast, the element of fun is foremost in the mind of all competitors. So come and join this very sociable group – cost is minimal, whilst fun is extreme!
