Tuesday Night Finals

The Tuesday night season finished up on the 24th November, with a grand final between The City Slicers and The Recruits.

The result was a victory for the City Slicers, five sets to one with an eight game margin. Congratulations to Frank Van West, Craig Sutherland, Bobby Tynan, Clinton Shelley and Nigel Fallon. Well done on a good season and for the grand final.

Commiserations to The Recruits, on top all season and just couldn’t get it right on the night. Cam Brimelow, Ryan Weeks, Dale Lapham, Mick Harrop, Graham and Aaron – thanks for the season.

On the same night, a grudge match was held with the financial spoils going to the “Movember” cause. The two warriors facing each other were none other than Daryl “Mossy” Moss v Peter “Richo” Richardson (see photo below). The scoreline read “Richo” 6-2, 6-1, 6-1. A debacle to say the least but a win for Movember.
