Tennis and Face Masks or Face Coverings
Today marks the first day that we must wear masks or face coverings in Victoria. If you are under the age of 12 then masks are optional but recommended. I wanted to let our members know of the requirements of masks when playing tennis.
You are not required to wear a mask while playing tennis. You must wear a mask or face covering before you play (on the way to the court), and you must wear a mask straight after you play (on the way off the court). All other restrictions are still in place (social distancing, you must make a booking to have a hit, etc).
We are very lucky to be able to still play tennis, and hopefully this will remain the case as long as everyone follows the rules, stays safe and covers up.
